During the initial site set up, each Site Manager is given a standardised format to use to ensure all required information is made readily available on site. This is then regularly monitored by both Project Management and the QHSE Manager. The QHSE Manager conducts a full site safety and quality audit on a minimum of a monthly basis to ensure health and safety arrangements are being followed correctly. In the case where a concern is raised, a non-conformance report is issued which details the corrective action required, the responsible person and the deadline date. This is followed up and closed out on our internal compliance management system.

Our Site Manager will conduct daily briefing with the operatives to discuss workload, specification, health, safety and quality. We find doing this provides a good forum for the operatives to raise any concerns. In addition, a minimum of 4 tool box talks will be conducted on site each month to ensure continual on-site training for all operatives.

The Site Manager is required to complete daily inspections and a formal weekly site monitoring form and return to the QHSE Manager and Project Manager to ensure that our high standards of health and safety are constantly being met. We also welcome external audits from our clients on existing projects as all of our team find the auditing process to be a positive exercise for improvement.
